1. Green Hindu Temples Guide

A wonderful, beautifully-designed, resource, first published in December 2015, on how to make your temple or ashram greener and more faith-consistent. With sections on teaching, recycling, energy, food and protecting wild animals.

2. Hinduism and Ecology

Hinduism and Ecology looks at the environmental values of the Hindu tradition--its past and present teachings and practices. In it the author speaks to prominent Hindu environment activists and thinkers, presents their ideas and explains what they are doing. Written by Ranchor Prime.

3. Dharma and Ecology of Hindu Communities: Sustenance and Sustainability

In Indic religious traditions, a number of rituals and myths exist in which the environment is revered. Despite this nature worship in India, its natural resources are under heavy pressure with its growing economy and exploding population. This has led several scholars to raise questions about the role religious communities can play in environmentalism. Does nature worship inspire Hindus to act in an environmentally conscious way? This book explores the above questions with three communities, the Swadhyaya movement, the Bishnoi, and the Bhil communities. Written by Pankaj Jain.

4. Bhumi Project Leaflets:

As this Green Temple Leaflet shows, making our Puja and Mandir green is easy. And it is all about Dharma, the right thing to do.
