Green Pilgrimage Network - read our latest newsletter

February 4, 2013:

Saplings are presented as sacred prasad offerings at the GPN India Chapter meeting in Rishikesh

There's a strong Indian flavour to the fifth newsletter for the Green Pilgrimage Network. Sent out electronically in January 2013 the newsletter coincides with the Kumbh Mela in Allahabad, India, where more than 80 million pilgrims are expected to come to bathe in the sangam, making it the largest human gathering in history.

Among the many camps for pilgrims will be the first ever green camp, supported by ARC, the Bhumi project and Pujya Swamiji of the Parnarth Niketan ashram. The newsletter also has news of the India Chapter of GPN and a special Catholic GPN handbook for this year's World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro.
