Why involve the Faiths?

Members of five faiths gather at Assisi to pledge their efforts for saving the environment

Churches, mosques, synagogues, temples and other houses of worship are small centres that can reach big worlds. Community members can apply the principles they learn and can spread them to a wider audience. They and their relatives can influence the way companies and states operate – and they can act as examples themselves.

With the current impasse on national action on climate change, faith communities can provide a way to break the deadlock.

Everyone has a role in saving the environment. Start small and think big.
