Useful linksAs well as producing material ourselves, in the course of our work at ARC we often encounter many resources that we think could be of use to our partner agencies, religious leaders, students and anyone else interested in developing faith-based environmental work.
We have collected a number of useful links to a wide range of faith-based environmental organisations, campaigns and networks.
ARC's diary
A round-up of forthcoming events worldwide both ARC-organised and others relating to faith and environmental action. Also includes an archive of past events.
Some of ARC's publications and others that relate to faith and the environment.
One of the latest was Faith And Food: a beautifully designed and illustrated exploration of the relationship between food and religious traditions showing the relevance of faith action for current issues like food poverty, sustainability and ethical eating.
Another was Stories of the Stranger - created as part of a response to the climate change and migration. This was a retelling of stories from different faith and cultural traditions about welcoming the stranger.
A selection of short films and radio podcasts made by ARC, ARC partner agencies and others.
A collection of wise, helpful and inspirational thoughts and prayers from all the major religious traditions chosen to help reflection on the spiritual dimensions of green issues.
A wide-ranging collection of newspaper, magazine and website material generated by ARC's activity, reporting on our events and projects around the world since the organisation was founded.
Stop press: In its October 24, 2014 edition the Church Times published a very positive two-page article featuring ARC's Faithful Farming programme in East Africa and also the recently published Faith in Food book.
ARC sent out a range of newsletters to share the latest information and ideas with our partners. As well as ARC's general bulletin these include the Green Pilgrimage Network, Africa & Wildlife and Eco Retreat newsletters.
Our Flickr account has photographs from ARC's major international events as well as others illustrating the range of environmental work being carried out by faith groups around the world. All images are available for not-for-profit use.
