Green Pilgrimage Handbook

The original Green Pilgrimage Handbook was produced for ARC's Sacred Land celebration in Assisi, Italy in November 2011. The Green Pilgrimage Network was launched at this international gathering, with twelve pilgrimage sites signing up as founder members. The handbook is in English and offers a faith groups, municipalities and others a detailed guide to the practical issues involved in making a pilgrimage site 'green'.

Green Pilgrimage Handbook for Catholics

This handbook was created for the World Youth Day event in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil in 2013 but can easily be applied to any other Catholic pilgrimage event. It provides a useful guide for groups and individuals aiming to attend the event. The handbook is available in English, Portuguese or Spanish

Green Pilgrimage India Handbook for Hindus

With the creation of the India Chapter of the GPN ARC's partner organisation the Bhumi Project has prepared a version of the handbook adapted for Hindu religious authorities and pilgrims. .

The Green Pilgrimage Network has produced a special handbook based on Catholic theology for pilgrims wanting to counter any negative environmental impact from this year's World Youth Day events in Rio de Janeiro.
