Climate Change Initiative

We the undersigned agree that we will investigate within our own congregation what our impact is on the Creation and how we can reduce it, beginning with curbing our CO2 emissions.

We offer this as a gift to the Creation and to its inhabitants and as a sign of our concern.

Did you know that every major faith teaches about the importance of preserving the environment?

Collect prayers and readings relevant to the environment from your own traditions – for this is an issue which touches us all at the deepest levels and is not just a matter of economics, politics, or science. It is all this and more.

Find out more about your faith teachings on ecology in our Faiths and Ecology section, and from the books in our Bookshop section.
